15. Greek Yogurt Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain fat free Greek yogurt (I used generic)
- 1 & 1/2 cup SELF RISING FLOUR (I used Gold Medal Self Rising Flour)
- (If you don’t have self rising flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder & 3/4 teaspoon salt to the 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour-it will turn out the same, I made it both ways.)
- olive oil, sauce, cheese, toppings
Instructions
- Add flour and yogurt to stand up mixer. (if you don’t have a mixer, mix in bowl, and then knead the dough on a floured surface until it is very soft and not sticky)
- Use the attachment that looks like a big hook.
- Mix on low scraping the sides when necessary.
- Eventually after a couple minutes it should form a mushy ball.
- You can add a little water if its too dry, or a little more flour if it’s too sticky.
- When you take it out of the bowl, sprinkle a little four on it and make sure it isn’t sticky.
- Add more flour and knead if it is sticky.
- Plop your dough on a pan that has olive oil spread all over it.
- Spread out with your fingers just like you would any other dough, but leave this dough on the pan (no tossing in the air).
- Add your favorite toppings.
- Bake 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
