These are the most popular apps on Apple&rsquo;s new App Store

<p>The new <a href="https://fortune.com/company/apple/" target="_blank">Apple</a> TV is out, along with its own app store featuring games and other downloads. But what&#8217;s more interesting than the titles is how much they cost.</p><div class="paywall-selector"></div><div class="paywall">
<p>Steve Troughton-Smith, a developer who builds apps for Apple devices, posted a list of the most popular apps available on the tvOS App Store, <a href="http://9to5mac.com/2015/11/02/early-tvos-app-store-sales-charts-show-popularity-of-games-app-prices-substantially-higher-than-ios/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">according to 9to5Mac</a>. Most of them, unsurprisingly, are games, but they&#8217;re generally more expensive than iPhone and iPad apps, which typically run around 99&cent;. The most popular tvOS apps are ranging on up to $10.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s Troughton-Smith&#8217;s list of the top paid apps in the U.S., as of Sunday:</p>

<p>As 9to5Mac notes, similar pricing occurred with the launch of the iOS App Store in 2008. At that time, most apps cost around $9.99. With added competition over the years, however, prices have been pushed down to less than a dollar or free.</p>
