[Feature request] Adding a task/shell to Windows Start Menu #3001

Suggestion

I think it would be nice to have certain tasks show up in the windows start menu. Currently there is an option to add a task to the taskbar, but that requires Cmder to already be open. It's a bit tedious to open the Cmder app, then open another tab to get to the correct shell. Making it directly accessible will be a lot faster for users to open the correct shell.

This can be done by creating a shortcut in the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu directory. I think currently users can do it manually by creating a shortcut, but I am not sure exactly how its done.

A simple checkbox can be added under the "Taskbar Jump Lists" checkbox under startup->tasks->selected predefined task

Use case

  1. I want to quickly open WSL in Cmder. I need to open the app first, then use keyboard shortcut or manually create a new tab.
  2. Similarly opening an admin shell (which is not set as default shell) requires the same process.
