Features/POIs may have the same address as a building which is considered a duplicate address by the Lithuanian address checker and may be removed[1]. The Lithuanian-specific addr:contact=yes tag is used on them to prevent this issue.
This tag is also used when mapping a building that conflicts with another building's address.[2]
Note that this tag may be deprecated with the switch to Charlieu Scheme (here's a French article documenting it). Currently the main blocker is OsmAnd not having support for it.[1][3][4]
