David Trusler RIP

‘I am sorry to advise that David Trusler, the founding member of Broadwater Sailing Club passed away some 3 months ago; we have only just been informed. The Club History, posted on the website, tells the initial activities David under-took to form Broadwater SC, with the first dinghy sailing on the lake reported as being on 4 April 1972. The first club officers were Commodore David Webzell, Treasurer Reg Moore and Secretary David Trusler. David then served as Commodore from 1977 to 1979. If more information on David’s passing becomes available this post will be updated.
Andy Chaplin,
Commodore Broadwater SC’
