eac3to is able to convert E-AC3, TrueHD, PCM and DTS-HD audio tracks to AC3, DTS or FLAC. Converts E-AC3, TrueHD, PCM, DTS-HD and FLAC tracks to AC3/DTS/FLAC. Removes Dialog Normalization from AC3, E-AC3, DTS and TrueHD tracks. Extracts AC3 frames from Blu-Ray AC3/TrueHD tracks. Extracts DTS core from DTS-HD tracks. Can remux the video track of a EVO/VOB source to Matroska(mkv). Command line tool but GUI(UsEac3to) also available. Requires external audio decoders.

One more slipstream fix for eac3to 3.54: Fix wrong chapter name string for the first chapter when skip first is in effect. Please re-download 3.54 to get this fix. Hat tip Island.
eac3to 3.54 is fixed and available again. The fix for accepting streams without AUD NALUs was bad and was removed.
eac3to build 3.54:
* For bluray/UHD disks, added skip first M2TS (-sf) and skip last M2TS (-sl)
options. These allow for proper handling of Kino-Lorber-like disks and other
disks with a spurious last M2TS.
* Allow handling of h.264 and h.265 elementary streams that do not contain
AUD NALUs.
* Fixed a bug in STN table parsing that caused incorrect marking of hidden
streams in the UI.
* Fixed bugs in detection of src/dest overlap detection. This detection is
intended to prevent accidental overwrite of source files.
* Fixed cases where a source file could be improperly deleted, even if the
command line does not have a src/dest overlap.
* Fixed some cases of improper framerate detection for HEVC streams.

I will keep using version 3.34 �forever�. It's incredible that we already are in 2025, almost in 2026, but eac3to still depends on outdated and unnecessary software 0_o

Peter is right. Slowing down with Eac3to 3.54 doesn't work. Speeding up works. Maybe this can be fixed.
