What we love: How the app leverages AI and machine learning (ML) to fuel your creativity. Use the AI-powered Neural Mix to seamlessly isolate and remix vocals, rhythm tracks and instruments. Crossfader FX lets you creatively transition between songs with effects such as Sweep or Dissolve – all with the help of ML.

Quick tip: You can manually speed up or slow down any track using the tempo slider. To easily match the tempo of two tracks, tap Sync and let the app do the heavy lifting.

Meet the creator: Co-founders Karim Morsy and Christoph Teschner started developing the app when they were college students as a way to make the art form more accessible to everyone. Djay won an Apple Design Award in 2011 and again in 2016.
