Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Sammelband vereint eine Reihe „konstruktivistischer Analysen“ internationaler Politik.’ Konstruktivistische Ansätze haben sich mittlerweile im Theorienspektrum Internationaler Beziehungen fest etabliert und werden als eine Forschungsperspektive angesehen, die sich klar von den herrschenden rationalistischen Ansätzen unterscheidet. Dies war bereits der Tenor der Diskussion zur Entwicklung der Disziplin Internationale Beziehungen anlässlich des 50jährigen Bestehens der Zeitschrift International Organization (Katzenstein et al. 1998) und wurde mit dem Erscheinen des Handbook of International Relations (Carlsnaes et al. 2002) auch quasi enzyklopädisch kanonisiert.2
