2022-2024 reconstruction
[edit]various angles related to the major mall reconstruction could include: leftover financial hardship from earlier COVID shutdown, homeless issues, downtown crime / public safety concerns, business permanently leaving, business compensation during multi-year construction vs. new-business support, narrow walkways compared to once-open areas, sense of security and safety in less-traveled spaces, transition from Mayor Hancock to Mike Johnston administration… Doug Grinbergs (talk) 02:57, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
Question about Impact as an Urban Space
[edit]Is there more information on how this space has impacted artists and businesses? Or on how this space is used for tourism? Also, I was a little confused by the section title. Is there another way we could phrase this? Shainaw (talk) 16:13, 4 February 2024 (UTC)

16th Street Mall → ? – The street has been officially renamed to just "16th Street" per https://denverite.com/2025/05/20/16th-street-mall-new-name-denver/ Pdubs.94 (talk) 15:00, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- Comment this article is not about the street, it is about the pedestrian mall portion of the street, so it cannot be named "16th Street" without scope expansion; there are already many 16th Street articles on Wikipedia. 16th Street pedestrian mall would not mislead people into thinking the topic was the whole street. -- 65.93.183.249 (talk) 03:47, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- Comment someone may want to write an article on the whole street, 16th Street, Denver; with this article being a subtopic. -- 65.93.183.249 (talk) 03:47, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
