Requested move 26 May 2025

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: moved. I've just closed the AfD as keep. Since that was the only thing holding up this move, I think there's no need to wait for a full seven days. (closed by non-admin page mover) Toadspike [Talk] 11:46, 30 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Chicken Ranch CasinoChicken Ranch Casino Resort – According to the casino resort's official website, the name is Chicken Ranch Casino Resort. I am not moving the page because the article currently is at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chicken Ranch Casino, and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#Wikietiquette says:

While there is no prohibition against moving an article while an AfD or deletion review discussion is in progress, editors considering doing so should realize such a move can confuse the discussion greatly, can preempt a closing decision, can make the discussion difficult to track, and can lead to inconsistencies when using semi-automated closing scripts.

The article notes: "I never even came close. And sometime during my fourth hour of Chicken Ranch Bingo, I concluded that losing at bingo is profoundly boring. ... The lobby and the gift shop feature a curious mix of Indian and bingo-related items. On one wall is a display of 600 arrowheads."

5x expanded by Cunard (talk). Number of QPQs required: 2. DYK is currently in unreviewed backlog mode and nominator has 94 past nominations.

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Expanded from 580 B to 5780 B in the past three days. Even if we count the 556 B in the bulleted list, expansion meets the 5x standard. The hookiness is that the unfamiliar will have some impression that the sharp objects are pointing away from the wall. I noticed a discrepancy of $1.4m (ref 1) and $1.6m (ref 3), but the latter covers not just construction, but also paying employees. Otherwise, nothing worth writing home about. We'll have to wait for the AFD to close before this can be approved. ミラP@Miraclepine 15:42, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
