Oppose on grounds of WP:PT2 (long-term significance)/the current WP:NOPRIMARY status quo. Some of the various meanings of "FB" have been widely used for decades before Facebook was developed, like Fullback (American football) and Full-back (association football). Oppose per reasons listed by other users above. "FB" for "Facebook" is far more like "IG" (which doesn't redirect to Instagram) than "GE" (which DOES redirect to General Electric, as it's the main thing referred to by that abbreviation). Paintspot Infez (talk) 01:02, 27 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
