– Consistent with government ministries (eg. Second Andrews ministry, Napthine ministry) and other states (eg. Burke shadow ministry, Winter shadow ministry). GMH Melbourne (talk) 05:30, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support – Going through these articles, I see a ton of over-capitaization, including various "shadow Ministry" and "The Shadow ministry"; and where they link each other, they generally pipe to these suggested new names, because that's what they're called. I did some fixes... Dicklyon (talk) 01:30, 21 May 2025 (UTC)

- Yes, I also support those. No need for another discussion. Dicklyon (talk) 03:48, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support standardising capitalisation to lower case "shadow" and/or "ministry" as per Talk:Gillard government#Ministry, Neutral on renaming to "XX shadow ministry". Past opposition leaders are not as well-known to the public compared to premiers or prime ministers, so people may not know who Hayden, Brogden, Foley or Daley are. Full name should be provided, such as "XX XX shadow ministry", or retain as "Shadow ministry of XX XX". Marcnut1996 (talk) 10:17, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- Note. Any change will need to include provision for ministries/shadow ministries led by different people with similar names. For example, both John Cain (34th Premier of Victoria) and John Cain (41st Premier of Victoria) have led state ministries, although articles on those ministries do not exist at present. WWGB (talk) 12:05, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- A simple solution would be to include the years as a form of disambiguation. If in the event there are two ministries/shadow ministries of the same last name and during the same time period, then this can be further disambiguated with full name. Marcnut1996 (talk) 14:09, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- An example exists with Allan ministry (1924) and Allan ministry (2023) GMH Melbourne (talk) 23:45, 21 May 2025 (UTC)

- Support standardising capitalisation to lower case "shadow" and/or "ministry" and shorter names per WP:CONCISE. While some of these may be less well known, a full name isn't going to make them better known. In any case, these articles are likely to be accessed through links rather than directs searches.
