Large sections not in English
[edit]The enlargement of the article is a good thing but large blocks in German and another non-English language will not work. Please translate into English or remove those sections. Thanks --CSvBibra (talk) 23:33, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
Deletion issue
[edit]I don’t feel the article should be deleted. It does need a lot work to get it to Wikipedia standards. The main body needs a considerable amount of editing. It is not clear why the ancestry tables are appropriate in the general family article rather than separate article on family member itself. Keep but clean up.--CSvBibra (talk) 18:10, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Windisch-Graetz → House of Windisch-Graetz – The article refers to the "House of Windisch-Graetz" as the noun unit. Many other House articles in Category:Austrian noble families are listed this way, such as House of Auersperg and House of Ligne. Mike Selinker (talk) 19:10, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- Some articles in that category are titled "House of"; most aren't. Is the argument that they all should be moved? Why? Or alternatively, why should this specific article be moved? Adumbrativus (talk) 06:21, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- We use the phrase "House of" in most of the highest ranked Houses, and most of the articles in that category are more properly thought of as families. Mike Selinker (talk) 02:27, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support. While I don't buy the WP:TITLECON argument, as Adumbrativus points out, that there are several Austrian noble family articles not titled in such a fashion. However, I do think that this article should be moved per the nom, in order to have a WP:NATDIS between the House of Windisch-Graetz and the location formerly known as Windisch-Graetz, now currently called Slovenj Gradec. Windisch-Graetz should also become disambiguation page, rather than solely redirecting to the noble family.⁂CountHacker (talk) 08:56, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
- Agreed on the disambiguation approach you suggested. Mike Selinker (talk) 21:10, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
