When a new major version is announced, we have to wait until the stable version is released to use the GitToolBox plugin. If we install it on an EAP version, it will show the incompatible error:

I found that some other plugins can be used in the EAP version without any compatibility issues. Do we have any way to achieve the same behaviour as those?
