ATL: a Story for ALL, 30 March 2006

Author:
Brian Henderson from Seattle
Atlanta, the mecca of southern hip-hop, finally came through with a
fresh, exciting, and fun picture.
ATL tells the story of four young men growing up in the urban scene of
school, work, dating, skating, and scandal. Overall the movie is
extremely eye catching and entertaining.
I found that ANYONE could relate to the characters in ATL, no matter if
you are rich or poor, black or white, young or old, this movie relates
to the choices that people make that impact others in bigger ways than
they think.
The actors in this movie absolutely nailed their roles! TI played a
believable "player" and lovable older brother at the same time. Big Boi
from Outkast was the neighborhood drug dealer, and he controlled his
role in the movie. Exchanges between big time rappers TI and Big Boi
engaged the audience and everybody wanted to see what unfolded in this
movie.
It doesn't matter who you are or where you are from go into this movie
with an open mind and be ready to feel an immediate attachment to the
individuals and to the ATL in general!
