Trivia: The character of Bela Lugosi continually puts down Karloff and the Frankenstein monster, then later laments that turned down the role of the monster himself. In reality, he did play the monster in Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943). Incidentally, he also played the role of Ygor in Son of Frankenstein (1939) against Karloff's final portrayal as the monster. (more)

Goofs: Continuity: In a screening room, Ed calls back to the projectionist to show the footage again. At which point, the projector (the same projector) immediately restarts although the film has not been rewound and rethreaded. (more)

weird - thank god, 22 November 2004
10/10
Author: CoffeeGoddess from The Deep South

There isn't enough weirdness of this ilk in the world. I rated this a 10 because it is perfect in its imperfection, just like Ed Wood was. Come on, the guy did 'Plan 9' for cryin' out loud. How perfectly horrible was that movie??

Landau was flawless as Bela Lugosi. Johnny Depp was his usual wonderful weird self. What is there to say about Bill Murray that hasn't already been said? Sarah Jessica Parker was brilliant as the not quite an airhead girlfriend/wife.

Frankly, I just can't find anything wrong with this movie except that it ends. I just wanted the weirdness to go on and on.
