American Canadian Tour - Stock Car Racing
Ever since the end of World War II, summer in Vermont means stock car racing! All winter long family teams work by their garage woodstoves putting together their racing machines for a bright new season. WDEV airs selected races sanctioned by ACT - The American Canadian Tour - including major events at Barre's Thunder Road International Speedbowl - The Nation's Site of Excitement. Special events are being planned for the 50th Anniversary Season of Thunder Road in Barre - stay with WDEV for updates.

Conversations with the Editors
Vermont has many fine local newspapers that cover our broadcast communities. Each week, we interview the editors and reporters from several papers to get a first hand summary of local news that reflect the concerns of Vermonters.
