South East NSW is one of the 'lifestyle' regions in Australia, where a combination of climate and landscape has attracted a large community of practising artists, especially musicians.
Matt Southon and Matt Churchill are typical of this artistic development.
Since they first appeared as 'undiscovered artists' on ABC South East NSW's music web site, Matt has won Best New Talent at the Newcastle Blues Festival and Kim has won the Byron Bay Bluesfest busking competition and recently toured with Dallas Frasca.
This video, by ABC South East NSW's Bill Brown, sees them playing as a duo in a live studio performance before they left on an east coast tour.
