The Assembly Plant

The Assembly Plant ensures both the production of the Dacia range models (Logan sedan, Logan MCV, Logan Van, Logan Pick-Up, Dacia Sandero and Dacia Duster) and of the respective spare parts.

Powertrain and Chassis Plant

Dacia’s Powertrain and Chassis Plant is in charge with manufacturing rough aluminium foundry parts, machining and assembling engines and gear boxes; machining parts; assembling front and rear axles; welding of axles�for Dacia’s range models and for Renault models manufactured worldwide.

Dacia Central Logistics Direction

Dacia Central Logistics Direction ensures the link between the Commercial Direction, on the one hand, and the Assembly Plant and the Powertrain Plant, on the other hand. The Direction employs 600 people. The manager of the Dacia Central Logistics Direction is Jean DETRUN.

There are 188 suppliers for Logan: 134 external suppliers and 54 suppliers in Romania, of which 6 are are located in ZIF Mioveni (Suppliers Industrial Area).

Background

Dacia is the brand that founded and developed the Romanian automotive industry. The company was founded in 1966, in Colibasi, Arges and has always kept a close relationship with Renault. Since 1999, Dacia is part of the Renault Group, having established itself as an international brand.
