Alumni-in-Residence Program
The Alumni-in-Residence Program brings accomplished Oswego alumni back to campus to share their knowledge and career experiences with current students. Alumni speak in classes, talk directly with students and faculty, and hold special presentations open to the entire college community. Students can receive information on what its like in the "real world," how to become successful after leaving Oswego, and what to do while still in school to help ensure success. The Alumni-in Residence Program benefits both students and alumni.
Benefits to Students
*Exposure to, and ability to, network with successful Oswego graduates.
*Broadening career interests and ideas.
*Reinforcement of academic coursework from someone in their field of study.
*Internship and career opportunities.
*Increased awareness of the Oswego Alumni Association.
Benefits to Alumni
*Honor of being asked back to their alma mater to share their career accomplishments.
*Interaction with students as possible interns or for entry level positions.
*Faculty also benefit by seeing the fruits of their labor, ie: they see their past students return as accomplished alumni.
