The first Sam’s Club opened its doors in Midwest City, Oklahoma, in 1983. Today, Sam’s Club operates more than 600 locations nationwide. Typical clubs are about 134,000 square feet and employ about 175 associates. We also have more than 100 international Sam’s Clubs in Brazil, China, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
