The links below provide background information on the CAIN Project, mainly for the first two years when the project was funded by eLib (the Electronic Libraries Programme). Copies of the reports and papers produced by the Project are linked to this page. Information on the promotional activities presented or attended by Project staff are also listed.

The development of the CAIN service is being undertaken jointly by the University of Ulster, the Queen's University of Belfast and the Linen Hall Library, Belfast. It is funded under the Electronic Libraries Programme (eLib) {external link} of the Higher Education Funding Council.

The CAIN Project logo was designed by Graham Toms, a recent B.A. (Hons) graduate from the Faculty of Art and Design of the University of Ulster.

CAIN contains information and source material on the conflict and politics in Northern Ireland.
CAIN is based within the University of Ulster.
