September 24, 2009 The Nightflowers competition on www.enya.com ends. The winning names are: Fragile Moon, The truelove found across the night (Ancient) and Kan Hooromay Eepha. Three extra prizes be awarded at The End of The Games. Roma will award prizes to three people who submitted names for flowers that already exist! Roma may be a tricky and sneaky puzzle master, but she's always generous with prizes. September 21, 2009 A warm-up event for The Second Loxian Games is announced on Unity--name three Nightflowers on Roma's website at www.romaryan.com. The game will run from Monday, September 21st through Wednesday, September 23rd. Roma's announcement, left in the Castle at www.enya.com: Sepember 21, 2009, 11:28 p.m. Hello Everyone, The first of Autumn - earth-time - approaches! Although The Loxian Games will not commence on this date, nevertheless, to celebrate the First of Autumn there will be a special event. As the first of Autumn reaches us all at slightly different times, the event will begin just after midnight on Monday 21st September and end at midnight on Wednesday 23rd September. Please to to the library on Roma Ryan's website and find the Nightflowers. Obviously, as this is a Loxian Games event, the winners won't know what they have won until the end of The Games. Have fun!  September 19, 2007 It's the album cover that launched a 100 controversies. The artwork for The Very Best of Enya is posted on www.enya.com. The new artwork was announced on Unity several days in advance of Warner sending it out to its affiliates. A cool well done to Roma Ryan for letting the forum have first peek at the new cover. September 7, 2009 The Second Loxian Games: The websites are starting to change--Romaryan.com, Nicky Ryan.net, certain parts of enya.com, as Roma uploads her terribly sneaky and downright dastardly teasers of what's to come with the next Game. In a surprise move that left us all reeling, she snuck into Unity this afternoon and had the infamous Mr. Nigel Borealis Australis post a message on her behalf. Yep--the games are coming, and she's not telling when! Beware; Roma's at it again! September 4, 2009 The Second Loxian Games were announced on Unity today, an exclusive announcement to the Forum. No start date has been given yet, but it sounds like it's going to be soon. In other news, several online retailers, including CD Japan have pre-orders for a special edition of the "very best of" Enya cd due out in November, which includes a dvd with documentary footage and, perhaps, music videos. We're dealing with rumor city here. Who knows what's going to be on dvd--a re-released and updated music video collection, the rumored biography project from the Galway ceremony in 2007? The Japan release of the compilation is set for November 18th. It should come out in the U.S. on November 17th. After a quiet doze through the Summer, Unity is getting quite busy these days! August 27, 2009 The rumored The Very Best of Enya compilation has been confirmed by Aigle. Posted to enya.com on August 26th: On the same day, Roma left special word for the fans in the News area on enya.com (interactive/castle view): 26/8/09: 11:57 a.m. August 17, 2009 A listing for a new Enya "best of" compilation has appeared on www.play.com, The Very Best of Enya, with a release date of November 16, 2009. Neither Aigle nor Warner have yet made an official announcement, but in the past, play.com has proven to be a reliable source of early Enya release information. The Treecat would be very happy to find the new Enya compilation titled My! My! Time Flies! The Very Best of Enya, and using that gorgeous photo of Enya standing by the lake that was used on the Swedish MMTF promo cd. My My! Wouldn't that be the best Enya album cover since The Memory of Trees? Jan. 6, 2009 Dreams are More Precious has been selected as the new theme song for Fuji TV's Japanese network drama Arifureta Kiseki. The announcement was made in the Jan. 6th issue of Ireland's Hot Press magazine. November 2, 2008
Enyatv debuts on Youtube Beginning Wednesday, November 5th, the Independent.ie (Ireland) will preview the songs from And Winter Came along with a track-by-track video guide to the album. "Warner Bros are giving Independent.ie readers an exclusive opportunity to see Enya's latest video, her track-by-track guide to her new album, and all this week, listen to songs from her new album." And Winter Came: is now available on iTunes (UK) with bonus track, Miraculum and a track-by-track video guide to the album. The bonus track and video are available for with album pre-orders. No word yet on whether or not the bonus track will be availble from other iTunes stores.  October 26, 2008 Aigle has uploaded an electronic press kit video for And Winter Came to the Video Gallery at www.enya.com. This warm interview with Enya also features comments by Roma Ryan and Nicky Ryan. The video was filmed at Powerscourt House and Garden in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. Additional footage shows Enya at work with Nicky on the music for And Winter Came at Aigle Studio. The 12-minute interview gives insight into the making of their seventh studio album and hints at greater challenges to come from The Trio. Well done! After watching names pop up in The Loxian Games over two days, starting October 20th, all winners were announced last night. October 22, 2008 The new video for Trains and Winter Rains is now available to view at AOL.com, Trains & Winter Rains This is an extremely slick and contemporary video, featuring black and white photography, bright neon colors and the hard sheens of glass and metal of a big city landscape. It's a radical, and welcome, departure for Enya videos. If you want Enya to put on the velvet robes and go back to the Celtic mists, forget it. She's stylishly dressed, black gloves, silver jewelry--a contemporary woman in an upscale, contemporary landscape. Enya, you go, girl!  September 29, 2008: Aigle Music announces the first single from And Winter Came: Trains and Winter Rains. The single will debut on Terry Wogan's Morning Show, on B.B.C. 2. (7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. GMT). The song will air at approximatly 9:10 a.m. The song should still be available on the Wogan archives afterward.  September 12, 2008: Aigle Music announces Enya's eighth studio album, And Winter Came. The album will be released on November 10th in the U.K. and Europe, and November 11th in North America.
