Priority Mail Regional Rate®
A low-cost shipping alternative for commercial and online customers who are currently using Priority Mail or Merchandise Return Service. With more than one size to choose from, the boxes combine the speed and convenience of Priority Mail shipping with zone pricing to reduce costs. Please note Regional Rate Box C was discontinued. Regional Rate Boxes A and B are best used for small, dense packages being shipped short distances.
Priority Mail Open & Distribute®
Expedite the transportation of your bulk mailings with Priority Mail Open & Distribute. We use regular Priority Mail distance-based prices to quickly move your mailings at a reasonable cost. And with a special barcoded label, you can track your shipment.
Restrictions
Maximum weight is 70 lbs.
Maximum combined length and girth (girth is the distance around the thickest part) is 108".
When sealing a Flat Rate Envelope or Box, the container flaps must be able to close within the normal folds.
There are specific regulations and standards for mailing restricted, prohibited, and hazardous materials, including cigarettes and smokeless tobacco.
Packages shipped to a Military Post Office™ (APO/FPO/DPO) pay domestic prices, but require a customs form and have specific restrictions. In some cases, a Military Post Office may not be able to accept Priority Mail Express® packages.

Insurance is not included for Priority Mail shipments sent using Merchandise Return Service (MRS), Priority Mail Open & Distribute, Premium Forwarding Service-Residential or Premium Forwarding Service-Commercial. For shipments valued at more than $50, additional insurance may be available for purchase. When additional insurance is purchased, it replaces the included insurance.
