The Commercial Office of Taipei is a governmental liaison of Taiwan in Dubai that is aimed to promote bilateral trade, business, investment, tourism, science technology cooperation and cultural exchanges between Taiwan and the UAE. In view of the lack of diplomatic relations between Taiwan and the UAE, the Commercial Office of Taipei has been regarded as the de facto Consulate General of Taiwan in Dubai since its establishment in 1979.
Currently there are Division of Consular Affairs and Division of Government Information in the Commercial Office of Taipei, providing consular services and promoting Taiwan image to the public in the UAE.
Consular services timings are：09:00~12:00, from Sunday to Thursday

Information Division serves as a press office for the government of Republic of China (Taiwan), provides information to the public about Taiwan in the form of complimentary brochures, posters, maps and periodicals upon request, hosts and organizes seminars, exhibits, speeches, and events to promote cultural and academic exchange.
Office Hours：Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 to 16:00（closed on Friday and Saturday, U.A.E. Public Holidays, R.O.C. National Day (10th Oct.), and Chinese New Year’s Day）
