Description

We've previously been running v5.0.0-beta2. Switching to the full release v5.0.0 results in the error ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'nulltype'.

The fix was to add the nulltype package to my project's requirements but I'm not sure if this is expected and it doesn't seem ideal. Is this package really required or was it an accidentally inclusion?

While there is still a distinction between Gate (strictly unitary) and Instruction (not necessarily unitary) we should not only have a to_instruction but also a to_gate on the o

go-jwt seems to not be maintained really. It has open/known security issue (which have multiple PRs open to address, earliest in 2018: dgrijalva/jwt-go#286). And it requires numbers to be floats because it cannot validate ints. [PR to fix this has been made](https://github.com/dgrijalva
