We already have --volume
option, which controls the amplitude of the produced beep. However we currently don't touch ALSA device volume, which also affects the produces sound and required threshold.
It would be convenient to set ALSA device volume to maximum before measurements, and restore it to the original value before exiting. It cab be done using ALSA Mixer API from libasound. We'll need
