The FAO Angola Country Programming Framework (CPF) 2024–2028 aligns with Angola’s “Angola 2050” strategy and the National Development Plan (NDP) 2023–2027. It aims to promote sustainable development and reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. The CPF focuses on building a sustainable, secure, and nutrition-sensitive agrifood system by improving agricultural productivity, food security, and environmental sustainability.

The Chitakas1 Farmer Field School (FFS) model has been successfully implemented in southern Angola's Cunene, Namibe, and Huila provinces in close coordination with the government at the central, provincial, municipal, and community levels. By leveraging Chitaka practices, the initiative enhances nutrition-sensitive food systems while building climate resilience.
