FH010026 Edit 3
A photo I took in the summer of 2008 with a Vivitar Ultra Wide and Slim camera, loaded with Ritz Crystal 200 (a high falutin' film stock if there ever was one.) This particular scan was noisy and poorly exposed. I quite disliked it at the time. Revisiting the photo some 15 years later, I ran it through a fairly extensive editing process. First I ran it through Topaz DeNoise AI. Then I loaded it into Photoshop. I used the QuickMask function and gradient tool to select all but the upper third of the photo. With that area selected, I adjusted the levels and colors. Then I saved the image, RE-loaded it into Topaz and denoised it again. Finally I did a last edit in Photoshop.
Was all of this effort worth it for a mediocre sky picture? Probably not. I still had fun doing it.
