    Perfect

    Melissa McCarthy is one of my favorite actresses. If she gets the chance, she gives her full due to every role she plays. She especially shines in dramas.

    She can get an award in this movie too.

    Timothy Olyphant and Kevin Klein are always fun to watch.

    Theodore Melfi is already one of his favorite directors. St. Vincent, Hidden Figures, Going in Style movies are in my archive as Blu-Ray. I hope this movie will be released on Blu-Ray.

    After watching this movie, I was even more curious about Dead for a Dollar, the new project of screenwriter Matt Harris.

    It is a very logical choice that the songs of the movie are entrusted to The Lumineers.

    Feeling their pain and grief

    "The Starling" is not a comedy, but a film for viewers to feel that characters' pain and grief. It is a nice surprise to see how the comedians could portray these deep feelings effectively.

    Chuckles and tears

    Give this movie a try. I enjoyed all of it. Melissa was wonderful and I was pleasantly surprised at all the great actors, they just kept coming. My husband and I laughed and cried. We also enjoyed the soundtrack. Definitely a must see!

    My husband and I watched this movie tonight. It was very charming and fresh. It moved along swiftly. So sensitive with a touch of very dry humor. The performances by everyone were excellent.

    A good example of a movie made by a good script.

    I have no idea why movie critics trashed this. Movie critics are no longer relevant in my esteem. I think they are desperate to be relevant.

    Beautiful story

    Beautiful story of dealing with loss and grief and breaking out of the bubble we form to shut out the pain. Heartfelt moments show us how difficult it is to process pain and how we need to allow others (human or otherwise) to help see our world differently. Comedic moments lighten up the difficult issues without taking anything away from central issues.
