Teach 5-8th grade students with mild/moderate disabilities and eligibilities of Emotional Disturbance or Other Health Impairments
Write Individualized Educational Plans for all students within my classroom Create and develop educational and behavioral programs to help students excel to their fullest potential while following individualized goals and state standards Write and implement lesson plans that follow state standard guidelines Interact through email, phone conversations, and face to face meetings with parents and guardians Conduct case consults with program directors, school psychiatrist, therapist, and all other team members Supervise 1-6 staff members Participate in weekly staff and teacher meetings.
Child Behavioral Specialist Work with therapists to identify and implement individual behavior goals Write daily progress notes on numerous children that require state funding Work one on one with a number of students to help them meet individual behavior contracts/goals Attend meetings with head clinician to discuss and evaluate progress notes, state regulations, and billing changes.
