Measurement

The Pay quantity shall be for each type, size, and length or pile as ordered and
accepted by Contractor. There will be no payment for Piles damaged during
fabrication,transportationordriving.

Measurement

The pay quantity shall be the total net penetration length successfully driven into
thegroundinaccordancewiththerequirementsofthedrawingsandspecifications.
Compensatingpilesshallnotbeincluded.
There shall be no payment for lengths of piles driven in excess of specified
requirements.

C.4 PileSplicing

Unit:Ea

Definitionofworktobeincludedinrate.

Settingandalignmentofpilestobespliced.
Splicing,includingsupplyofnecessarymaterials,endpreparation,bevellingwelding,
coating,painting,etc.

Measurement

The pay quantity shall be for each splice completed as per drawings and
specifications(sizestobespecified).

Thepayquantityshallbecountedseparatelybyeachtypeandsizeofpile.
Thepileheadcuttingrequiredforcompensationpilesshallnotbeincluding.
