History of Diplahan National High School

Diplahan National High School began in 1967 with one section each of first and second year students, with classes held in different temporary locations. Through donations of land, the school was eventually able to acquire its own site. Key figures worked to open the school, including facilitating the necessary paperwork. An initial makeshift building was constructed, later replaced by a pre-fab building. The school was nationalized under President Aquino, and saw renovations in 1989. It was converted to Diplahan National High School in 1990 and has since grown, with over 40 teaching and non-teaching staff and around 21 sections total across grades 7-4.
