well,
The day has come when I can share my experience...feeling grt... Well I got placed in ONGC as Asst. Executive
Engineer(Cementing). Interviewers were very good. They had their pre placement talks with us. I was the first candidate to
enter for the interview. So, obviously i was tensed. but thanks to my experience it worked. Interviewers generally started with
my introduction. and then they started asking my faviourite subject both in B.Tech and Mtech. Then they started asking me
questions like:

1. what is group gathering system? can you draw me a flowchart?


2. Please explain it
3. Then, what are the various design factor to choose a casing?
4. If you have a well filled up with water upto 1300 metre, what will be the hydrostatic pressure?
5. what is drilling Engineering?
6. what did you learn in MTech?
7. Why you decide to do Mtech?
8. Some questions on drilling fluids....
9. what is the name of the fighter aircraft that was bought by the country recently?
10. some questions on Asian Games and fifa
11. do you have any one working in oil industry?
12. what do you know about ONGC? and OVL?
13. how you spend your leisure time?
14. you know how oil industries work, what you think ? can u survive?
