Fashion is an art, an art of self expression. It is movement, balance, focus all in one. It is fit
for all people of all sizes of all age. It is a statement, not a (fleeting?) style. It does not have to
be worn casually, nor be straight out of the runway, but be a balanced expression in itself.
It is said, one cannot connect the dots by just looking forward; one can only connect them by
a collaborative vision of the present and the past. Amalgamate the local exposure and
inheritance, with the new ideas. Arise with an impression to epitomize the communities of the
city you are in. Explore and express its exposure.

Rules and regulations:


1. Participants are required to strictly follow the theme given by the host college , to be
judged on fair grounds .
2. A maximum of 10+2 (including stage assistance ) participants will have to perform
on stage and a minimum of 8 .
3. Maximum performance time allotted to each college will be 6 minutes including
narration and additional 2 minutes for stage setup and clearance .
4. Negative marking if participants exceed the given time limit (which is 6+2), 10% of
marks deduction for every extra minute taken .
5. Participant colleges are required to pre-register themselves along with a preview
video of 3 minutes and an abstract of the concept till 4thSeptember 2016 by 23:59hrs
send via YouTube /Google drive link to the official Email-id i.e.
[email protected].
6. Participant colleges name should not be revealed through any mode during the
performance , failure to do so will lead to direct disqualification.
7. Vulgarity strongly prohibited, obscene material and audio visual material is strictly
banned .
8. The organisers have the right to disqualify any entrant if they have reasonable grounds
to believe that the entrant has breached any of the rules formulated by the host college
.
9. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules , code of conduct , result of the event
and all other matters related to the fashion competition ,THE DECISION OF THE
JURY MEMBERS AND THE HOST COLLEGE STANDS FINAL and NO
CORRESPONDANCE or discussion will be entertained .
10. The short listed entries will be declared on 8th September 2016 through official
emails.
11. A maximum of eight (8) short listed colleges will be allowed to perform on stage
during the convention.

12. Two copies of compact discs containing sound track in mp3 format must be
submitted in advance during the registration of trophies in the convention .
13. On stage use of elements like fire and water as props are strictly prohibited.
14. Use of materials like cigarette, alcohol and any hazardous material on stage is not
encouraged, teams interested in using such articles must contact organisers prior to the
convention .

WORK PROCEDURE

DURING CONVENTION
1. During the registrations, the CD's will be collected from the college which are being
selected for the fashion show.(volunteer-1)
Registrations would be held till 7 AM in the morning on 23rd september.
Cross checking of the CD's will be done by 12pm
2. There will be 9 rooms provided in shri ram college for the participants of the fashion
show.( volunteer 2 & 3).
capacity of each room- 10+4 (makeup artist)
3. 4.5 hrs prior the rooms would be provided to the colleges.
4. Volunteer 4 & 5 would guide the participating colleges from the room to the back
stage.( 15 students of each participating college).
5. Volunteer 6 & 7 would be present at the back stage to manage the performers.
6. Volunteer 1 would be present near the sound system with the CD's during the fashion
show.
7. There would be 4 colleges at a time that will be be present in the green room during
the show.
8. After the performance, each participating college would move to their respective
rooms.
9. After the fashion show 1hr would be given for the room clearance.
