Cross Examination Example

Claire Clairmont was questioned about an evening in June 2011 at Villa Diodati where Lord Byron told a ghost story. Others there, including Percy Shelley and Mary Wollstonecraft, were inspired to write their own stories. Dr. Polidori attempted a story about a woman with a skull face that was mocked by the group. Clairmont testified that Byron's story was not given freely and that she dislikes Byron due to a custody dispute over their child. She believes the eyes of the Lord Ruthven character in the video game Vampyre Gone Wild do not resemble Byron's, though it has been years since she last saw Byron.
