1. GENERAL

Dimension, shape, construction detail, quality of material, and construction methods must
refer to Civil Drawings and General Specifications for Civil Works.

Scope of work includes:


- New Loading Ramp Hopper foundation
- Repair existing Loading Ramp Hopper Foundation
- Demolished of existing concrete ground beam for foundation works

2. NEW LOADING RAMP HOPPER FOUNDATION

- Foundations are made of reinforced concrete of K225 quality which reinforcement


details refers to drawings.
- Soil beneath the foundations must be compacted by hand compactor until it reaches 95%
of maximum density, covered with 50 mm thick lean concrete of 1:3:5 mixture.
- In case for new loading ramp hopper foundation works, the existing ground beam must
be demolished, and then re-concrete with new K225 concrete quality with existing
rebar. Boundary of demolition area refers to drawings.
- Connection between new and existing concrete must applied bonding agent. The
bonding agent to be applied is a SIKA product i.e. SIKABond NV. The bonding agent
application must refer to the manufacturers application standard.
- Grouting is a product of SIKA i.e SIKAGrout 214-11 type. Detailed application
requirements must refer to General Specification of Concrete Work.

3. REPAIR EXISTING LOADING RAMP HOPPER FOUNDATION

- Existing foundation must be demolished and then re-concrete whit new K225 concrete
quality with existing rebar. Boundary of demolition area refers to drawings.
- Connection between new and existing concrete must applied bonding agent. The
bonding agent to be applied is a SIKA product i.e. SIKABond NV. The bonding agent
application must refer to the manufacturers application standard.
- Before pouring new concrete, the existing concrete surface must be cleaned from all
loose concrete debris, dirt, oil and dust.
- Grouting is a product of SIKA i.e SIKAGrout 214-11 type. Detailed application
requirements must refer to General Specification of Concrete Work.
