Subject: Speeding vehicles cause accidents

Sir,
I would like to share my views through the column of your esteemed newspaper regarding speeding
vehicles causing road accidents every day, as even roadside sleepers are crushed of and on. It is
disturbing to see the spate of accidents in the last fortnight. All the accidents have been caused due to
over speeding.

In the absence of the traffic police, the vehicle violates the prescribed speed limit. The traffic police should
install speed detectors on the road and those violating speed limits should be challenged. The police has
to crack down on such motorists and the driving licenses of those violating for the second time should be
cancelled. Rough and broken roads should be repaired.

I hope the concerned authorities would rise to the gravity of the situation and take timely action to avoid
the spate of road accidents. I would be obliged.

Yours truly,
Manish
