Introduction
Thank you for taking the time to read our statement of work document (SOW) my name is Matt Bloom
the director of Information Technology of CORGIBUCKS Coffee. I oversee the Information Technology
Department and have been with the company only 2 months. We have been making great strides in our
industry and have had to rapidly increase our business to meet the demands of customers. But first
about bit of history about our company.

CORGIBUCKS Coffee was founded by Donald J Adams as an avid dog lover and coffee aficionado he
developed his own blends of coffee at first for friends and family but everyone raved and loved his
coffee so much that he opened his first location in West Chicago in 2012 during an especially biter and
chilly winter. Everyone in Chicago quickly fell in love with Mr. Adams coffee as well. CORGIBUCKS
currently operators 1 store (Store 001) located at 44 Shirley Ave West Chicago, IL 60185 but are looking
to expand our operations to open 7 more stores by mid-summer 2018. We have a small workforce that
has worked out of our original location but we are close to opening a corporate headquarters and have
hired several new employees in all departments and have found that we need to expand our
Information Technology operations. We would like to hire you and your company to help us meet our IT
challenges.
Challenges
We have little to no IT infrastructure (just 1 Square POS). We have recently purchased a small building
space for a corporate headquarters and are looking to open several new stores. We have hired several
new people in all departments and a list of departments and employee names and positions will be
provided as well as store locations. We need to connect all our locations back to our corporate
headquarters so we can track all corporate data such as point of sale data, Employee time tracking,
Inventory and security video systems. We also need the ability to quickly and efficiently provision
accounts as well as securely maintain our in-house data. We also plan on providing guests internet
access while in our facilities.

use as turnover can be high at the store level. Use your best judgement.

Conclusion
In conclusion of this document we expect a complete and functional network by March 2018 as all
employees will be onboarded and all locations opening. We have been provided a large budget to use as
the Mr. Adams and the rest of the executive board want everything done right the first time. We also
want this to be something we can replicate in the future if we continue to open stores. Many of the
current staff are familiar with Windows and Cisco but we are open to going down any path you see fit as
our consultant. If the project is completed on time there will be a nice bonus thrown in. All wiring,
security cameras and equipment (TVs, POS, computers) have already been purchased and we have a
third party working with our IT department and everything will be ready to plug and play.

We look forwarding to working with you and your team of qualified engineers to deploy a rock solid and
secure information technology infrastructure.
