1. For someone working in your field, please describe the fantasies versus realities of the job.
(fantasy vs. reality)

My fantasy when I first became a Chiropractor was, I am just gonna do back adjustments and muscle
healing. Reality changed that when I learned more about nutrition. This info from nutrition helped me be in a
company called idlife, which has recently been becoming much more popular and I have tons of nutrient products
not only for chiropractic care, but for life in general.

2. What is your current educational level? What continuing education and training are required?

Well Im a Chiropractor, so my label is D.C (Doctor of Chiropractic). I obtained a bachelors degree and
then attended a Chiropractic College for graduate school. I had to pass my board exam to earn a License to do my
job. I also worked at NASA for many years.

3. Please describe the typical day to day activities of someone working in your field.

Well I, as an owner of a practice do other things besides chiropractor. I have to be every position in the office
from electrician, plumber, front office manager, and also chiropractor.

4. How secure are you in your current position? What do you think is the future of your field?

Chiropractors are actually one of the most secure job positions in the country due to the much fewer
participants in chiropractic college compared to medical school. I think that people right now are

The average salary in my field is about 65-70 thousand dollars.

6. What potential for growth is there in your field?

I personally do believe that there is solid projected growth in my field because I believe that the culture is
changing where they will just wait out severe back pain for 3 weeks when we can relieve the pain.

7. How did you obtain important career information that you gave to me when I first met you?

I got that from experience, research, and I go to a lot of seminars, so thats how I got that useful information that I
gave to you.

8. How did you know that being a Chiropractor was your niche?

I didnt know that Chiropractor was going to be my thing but I always liked the holistic approach in medicine.
Chiropractic College is very similar to med. School, but less time at internships, and I have a more controlled
schedule. Taking this into consideration, I chose Chiropractic Care.

9. Were you ever settled on what you wanted or did you change your mind multiple times as time went on?

No, my idea of what I wanted to do (holistic care) never really changed, but as I got more experienced, it evolved
my focus of where to.

10. Did you have your own mentor to provide guidance?

No, I was an immigrant who didnt know English well. I had to experience life on my own and learned
from that as I grew up in the United States.

Doing exercises for the muscle is important to maintain
Sever pain should be seen with a chiropractor
Body could get worse shunning the help of professionals.
The spine and muscles are intricately together in relation to what everything else does in the
entire body
Chiropractor gives more flexibility than Medical Doctor in most cases.
