SENIOR CLASS SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON PLAN

Theme for the month: Time Management

Bible References: Eccl. 12:1, Psalm 90:12, Eph. 5:15-16

Memory Verse: Pro. 16:3

Objective: To help the children plan their day

2nd Sunday
Teach Lesson (Discussion)

Ecclesiastes 12:1

Meaning: Difficult days will come! If you do not make a conscious effort to remember God now, you will
struggle in the future.

How do you make a conscious effort to remember God? By putting Him in your plans.

Psalm 90:12

Meaning: To number or count something means to be aware of that thing. To number your days mean
to know that you have little time to live and so you can die at any time. God says that is how you can get
a heart of wisdom. Who wants wisdom?

Why? Because when you know that life is short, you manage your time well and do the important
things first.

Ephesians 5:15-16

Meaning: Circumspectly – carefully or attentively (intentionally)

Redeeming the times – redeem means to save or rescue from loss. So redeem the times means save
your time from being lost or wasted.

How do we manage our time well? By planning!

Why do we plan?

Who has tried to plan is or her time before?
