Individual Written Assignments Learning Objective


Assignment #1. Identify a nurse in the media (television, 1
movies, magazines) and write a brief essay regarding the roles
and functions commonly portrayed by the character. Discuss
whether this is a positive portrayal of nursing and in what ways,
if any, you would modify the nurse’s roles.
Assignment #2. The focus of nursing is on the person receiving 2
the care. Explain how nursing actions are patient focused and
represent a blend of the art and science of nursing.
Assignment #3. Write a paragraph defining nursing from your 1
own personal perspective and experience. Then, answer this
question: Is nursing a discipline or a profession (or both)?

Group Assignments Learning Objective


Assignment #1. Each group member will explore the 2
perspectives and roles of nursing by interview (audio/verbatim
and video if possible) from different person (Nurse, Nurse
Lecture, Physician, Dietitian, Dentist, Pharmacy, Patient and
Family). The results should be shared by presentation with the
class through a discussion (within 5 minutes each group).
Assignment #2. Introduce yourself to students who are in 3
nursing programs at different levels than yours (Program A &
B). Prepare a list of interview questions that will help you learn
about these programs and the reasons students chose
them. Compare these students’ learning experiences with your
own.
Assignment #3. Search the Internet for an article discussing a 5
new trend in nursing, and write a brief essay summarizing the
major points discussed. Be sure to identify any ethical issues
that may need to be resolved by a nurse practitioner.

Tugas kelompok
Tugas # 1. Setiap anggota kelompok akan mengeksplorasi perspektif dan peran
keperawatan dengan wawancara (audio / verbatim dan video jika mungkin) dari orang
yang berbeda (Perawat, Perawat Kuliah, Dokter, Ahli gizi, Dokter Gigi, Farmasi,
Pasien dan Keluarga). Hasilnya harus dibagi dengan presentasi dengan kelas melalui
diskusi (dalam waktu 5 menit setiap kelompok).
Tugas # 2. Memperkenalkan diri kepada siswa yang berada dalam program
keperawatan pada tingkat yang berbeda dari Anda (Program A & B). Siapkan daftar
pertanyaan wawancara yang akan membantu Anda belajar tentang program ini dan
para siswa alasan memilih mereka. Bandingkan pengalaman para siswa 'belajar
dengan Anda sendiri.
Tugas # 3. Cari di Internet untuk artikel membahas tren baru dalam keperawatan, dan
menulis sebuah esai singkat meringkas poin-poin utama yang dibahas. Pastikan untuk
mengidentifikasi isu-isu etika yang mungkin perlu diselesaikan oleh seorang praktisi
