Public Policy Analysis

VISION OF THE UNIVERSITY : A premier multidisciplinary-technological university.


MISSION OF THE UNIVERSITY : The University shall primarily provide advanced professional and technical instruction for special purposes, advanced
studies in industrial trade, agriculture, fishery, forestry, aeronautics, and land-based programs, arts and sciences, health sciences, information technology and
other relevant fields of study. It shall also undertake research and extension services, and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization.
GOALS OF THE COLLEGE : CAS aims at the integral development of the individual toward fullness as a human being through humanistic and scientific
studies.

COURSE DESCRIPTION :
This course will lead the way to the understanding , analyze public policies and means to create, craft public policies that addresses public issues and problems.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES :

CO1 Have a comprehensive view and clear understanding of the Concept of Public Policy, its history and crafting of public policies.
CO2 Understand the importance of sound Public Policy, and approaches to Public Policy Analysis.
CO3 Determine the issues that affects and actors that influence in the creation of policies
CO4 Know the Process on how public policies are created, from issues to laws, or executive acts.
