Vision

By the end of a students time in the youth group, we want to see that they have developed

a deep love for Jesus, and they feel so strongly about this love for Jesus that they want to

continue to learn more and that they want to continue discipling others. We also want to see that

our students are still curious about their theology and faith, this will show that they still care and

want to dive deeper. If a student thinks that they have figured it all out, they will soon grow

bored and not want to continue to learn more or dive deeper in their faith and theology. Another
thing that we would like to see is that the students have become equipped to disciple others

throughout the years in the ministry. We want them to understand that discipleship is a main

factor within ministry. Lastly we would like to see that they have understanding of their theology

and that they plan to continue to grow using that theology and that some of their theology might

change along the way if they find one thing to be more important than another. As leaders, our

goal is not to have an awesome youth ministry but instead we want to help stretch and grow our

students, equipping them to equip others.

Mission

We love our students, teaching them to become disciples of Jesus who grow in their faith

to serve and impact the world!

Discipleship Strategy

When a new students joins our ministry we recognize that this is all new to them so we

give them time to discover and process all that is going on around them. During this time we just

love and care for them while helping them discover Christ. As they grow and develop more in

their faith we start to challenge them to dig deeper and search for any answers to questions that

they might have. During this process we meet with the student every now and then to discuss

what is new and to gage where they are in this process. As the student continues to grow we

recognize when they truly own their faith and who truly believes everything and is ready to help

others. We help them during this time showing them how to do things with a simple strategy of: I

do, you watch then I do, you help, next would be You do, I help then You do, I watch then

finally it is You do, someone new watches.
