Carrier Synopsis:

Presently Working for Vodafone Mobile Services, ROB Project as DT Engineer (RF Optimization (2G & 3G)
from Oct’2016 to till date.

Responsibilities: Radio Network Optimization Engineer

 Working on the daily basis for the Rogue Cells of the network to meet the customer
requirement.
 Report Analysis for overshooting cells to reduce TCH Drop, SD Drop & Improve CSSR & HOSR
by Physical Optimization.
 Physical optimization of sites according to clutters by Google earth & KPI analysis.
 Radio Frequency check & Neighbors Tuning (2G & 3G) using MAPINFO.
 Analysis of (Handover failure ratio Report) to improve the HOSR & to reduce call drops.
 Retuning of RF related parameters such as BCCH, BSIC & TCH frequencies by analyzing drive log
files and KPI’s.
 Diagnosis of quality and coverage related problems using drive test logs statistical data such as
drop reasons and Handovers statistics.
 Responsible for performing pre-drive test and post drive- test for New sites, BSC migration,
Expansion and TRAI Drive (Telecomm Regular Authority of India).
 Preparation of reports for regulatory bodies for sharing QOS reports from a network
performance perspective.
 Network Audits, Development of KPI improvement weekly targets and Analysis/Validation of
various performance reports.
 Good co-ordination skills for managing resources on project, giving online technical support to
drive test engineers and provide technical support to Customer & team members.
 To find out Cells having low data throughput by daily analysis.
 Regular monitoring of Data traffic and retuning PDTCH.
 Regular monitoring of Data parameters like TBF drop, EDAP rejection to enhance the data
traffic.
 To keep eye on soft blocking & hard blocking Cell wise and to increase the time slots to avoid
the slow speed.

 Solving problems related to call drop, Handover Failure. Performing 2G call test and SCFT
analysis.
 Performing 2G Drive Test and Cluster Optimization to check Performance of a Cluster.
 Analysis of Pilot Signal Quality, Dropped Calls, Access Failure, Hand Off Failures, Blocked
 Call, Handoff Statics. Performing checking of Antenna Orientation.
 Drive log analyses & resolving the issue by optimization.
 Drive test analysis and taking the necessary action to improve the performance of his area.
 Reducing congestion and drops, improving the IRAT Handover, Soft Handover, Location Update,
Paging, CSSR, RRC Connection & RAB.

LTE-4G Project Job Responsibility:-

• • Pre-launch, Post-launch optimization of single sites and clusters through SSD, SSV and cluster
drives. Responsible for meeting the Accessibility, Retain ability, Throughput, through drive test data
Analysis.
• 4G LTE Pre & Post Logs File/Report/ KPI Report Analysis & Optimization of Network, 4G Worst
KPI Analyses, 4G Log File Analysis and Provide Recommended Solution for Improvement of Report.
• • Analysis Degrade KPI Report & Verifying the LTE 4G RF Parameter for Single & Cluster Site Like:
SITE INFO, PCI Verification, EARFCN Verification, BW, RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, CINR, EARFCN, BW, Latency,
CSSR, CSFR, RRC.
• • 4G LTE Analysis & Optimization of RF Parameter for Poor Coverage, Quality, Handover
Analysis, Swap Analysis, Poor FTP DL- UL, Poor UDP DL-UL Throughput, CDR ETC Single SSD & Cluster Site
Shakedown Report.
• • In case of degraded Network performance then analyze Through Pre & Post Drive Test Log
File, Daily Basis KPI Report & Optimization the Network KPI of Single & Cluster Site and discuss with NSN
team.
• • 4G Radio parameters Analysis, 4G KPI Analysis, 4G Log File Analysis, 4G Report Process &
Analysis.
• • Analysis & Optimization of drive test Log files of 2G GSM, 3GUMTS, 4G LTE, identifying
coverage, quality issues, KPI Issue etc.
• Analysis of drive test data and field optimization activities includes change of frequency-SC,
change of power, Re-orientations, mechanical tilt, electrical tilt, height changes. Change of different
parameters in order to improve the stats.
• In charge of the Drive test and RF team, and equipment’s. Drive test route recommendation.
Checking for neighbor’s definition and swap feeders, recommending antenna tilting and orientation
changes.
• Responsible of data analysis on problem areas such as call drops, neighbor analysis and call
setup failure by analyzing layer messages on drive test log files and RNC trace log files to improve
network performance.
• Monitoring the radio environment in order to find unwanted interference sources.Create and
analysis of Drive test report through Actix -One.
• Analysis of drive test data to determine network issues like poor coverage areas, interference,
Poor Throughput in case of UL/DL.
