E-Band Outdoor Installation

1-Install the link according the SF6 (1+0 or 2+0)

2-Install the Metal Label at each cable (Facing number & ODU 1 or
2)

3-Install the earth kit and connect it & the ODU earth cable to the
earth bar.

4-All cables must be in good arrangement at tower by using
clamps or metal tie-wrap if there is no space at the tower to
install Clamps.

5-At the end of the tower we have to lay the power cables &
traffic cables in separate PVCs till the shelter’s roxtec.

6. Install the fiber boxes at shelter side as per shown spacing.
• Install and arrange fiber cables using plastic tie wraps.
• Cover all fiber boxes holes with silicon.

7-Install earth kit before the Roxtec
8-Each cable must be entered from one roxtec module.

E-Band Indoor Installation

1- All Cables : Traffic , Management and power cables must be


installed and arranged well inside cable trey using white plastic
tie wraps.
-Make sure that all cables are in good arrangement to avoid any
crossing

2-Connect the traffic cable at exiting traffic node (TN).

3-Connect the Management cable at exiting DC LAN Switch.

4-Connect the power cable at existing DDU or any C.B 6 A.
