What is Pipedrive?
Pipedrive is an on-line CRM system that helps sales representatives maintain contact data, track sales
opportunities and manage cases.
The interface and operation is slightly different based on how you are accessing the system. This
manual provides instructions for access via the mobile app and via PC.
How is contact data organized in Pipedrive?
Contact data can be viewed by person or by organization. A contact record holds the person’s long-term
contact details like name, phone number, email address and organization as well as hospital privileges.
A contact is assigned to an owner (the sales rep). Contact records also maintain a record of all actions
associated with that contact, both past and planned.
What is a deal?
Each individual sales opportunity within the pipeline is called a “Deal.”
Image 1a shows the sales opportunity pipeline as seen on a PC. You can see the six stages of the sales
process as well as individual deals at each stage. Image 1b shows how the pipeline, stages and deals are
shown on the mobile app.
