ALERT! YOU COULD BE BARRED FROM INFOSYS!

Despite strict warning, a few students have


been found indulging in malpractice during the Qualifier Round of Infosys Certification. Students
who have been found guilty of violation of examination rules and/or violation of code of conduct
and/or of sharing the questions and answers of the Infosys Certification examinations in public
forums shall be considered disqualified for the Final Round as well as forever be prohibited from
the Infosys recruitment process.

INFOSYS CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION GUIDELINES

QUALIFIER ROUND GUIDELINES


PRIOR TO THE EXAMINATION

Before starting the test, please make sure that you have the following on the computer that you plan to
use for participating in the Qualifier Round of Infosys Certification:

 A stable Internet connectivity of at least 1.5 MBPS.


 A webcam in a working condition.
 Google Chrome version 70 and above installed, as the test can only be taken only on Google
Chrome.
 Disabled pop-up blocker.
 Working microphone (optional).
 You should have received your username and password for the examination.
 You should have changed your password for taking the test, as per the instructions provided.

LOCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

 Please select a location where you can remain undisturbed for the duration of the examination.
 The lighting in the room must be bright enough to be considered “daylight” quality. Overhead
lighting is most optimal. Ensure that the source of light must not be behind you.
 Ensure you have a comfortable chair and are seated upright such that your face can clearly be
captured constantly. Partial face visibility will be considered a violation.
 The desk or walls around you must not have any writing or pictures of people.
 Ensure that there are no people around you. If anyone else apart from you is detected in the
frame of the video, it will be considered as a violation.
 The room must be as quiet as possible. Sounds such as music, television, chatting of people are
not permitted.
 Avoid accepting phone calls for the duration of the examination.
 Ensure you login within 15 minutes of the start of the slot time, as the login window will remain
open only till 15 minutes from the beginning of the test time. For example, if as per the slot, the
test is to begin at 9 AM, then you must be logged in by 9:15 AM. If you miss the login window,
you will no longer be able to take the Qualifier Round test. No requests on the matter will be
entertained post the closure of the login window.

CAMERA PLACEMENT

Please use the camera window at the bottom of the screen to ensure that your entire head and torso as
well as 6-12 inches behind your back is clearly visible. Please see the reference image provided.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

 i3 Core or better.
 4 GB RAM.
 Windows, Linux, Mac.
 Google Chrome version 70 and above.
 Speakers and microphone, as headsets are not allowed during the examination.
 Close all other programs, including messenger apps such as Skype and Teams, before you begin
to take the examination.
 Do not switch out of the test screen. Switching to out of the test screen to another window will be
treated as a violation of the code of conduct for the examination and is automatically tracked.
 Usage of online communicators (Skype, Teams, etc.) is strictly prohibited.

BEHAVIORAL GUIDELINES

The entire duration of the examination is proctored. You will be on video and therefore, please ensure the
following:

 You must dress as though you were in a public setting.


 You must not use headphones, ear buds, or any other type of listening equipment.
 You must not communicate with any other person by any means.
 You must not leave the video frame during the exam for any reason, unless posted rules for the
exam specifically permit you to do so.

FINAL ROUND GUIDELINES

 The Final Round of Infosys Certification will be held at different venues. Ensure you reach the
exam venue at least 30 minutes prior to your slot. If you fail to report to the venue on the
designated date and time, no further attempts will be permitted.
 Your call letter/hall ticket is a mandatory document that is required at the venue to check your
identity. Therefore, ensure you carry your call letter/hall ticket to the Infosys Certification venue
along with other mandatory documents as mentioned in your call letter/hall ticket.
 The duration for the Final Round examination is three hours. It comprises objective and hands-on
questions.
 For the Final Round of Infosys Certification there will be no negative marking.
 Your test result of the Final Round will be shared with you immediately via email as well as on
InfyTQ.
 On scoring 65% or above, you will earn Infosys Certification as ‘Infosys Certified Software
Programmer’ and will become eligible for a job interview at Infosys.
 The interviews will primarily test your behavioral competency.
 The interviews be conducted at the venue after the Final Round of Infosys Certification. Based on
your test results, you may choose to stay back at the venue for the job interview.

WARNING: At any stage of the Qualifier and the Final Round of Infosys Certification, anyone found
indulging in malpractice, including but not limited to appearing for multiple certification exams using
different or fake credentials, will have their results invalidated even if cleared.
