Purpose: Guideline OPENVPN Access Server

Setting the Google Authenticator app.


STEPS
1. ACCESS THU WEB BROWSER
https://ovpn1.portal888.net:44

2. Login with your ICT username


and password

3. Upon Successfull Sign in


OPENVPN SERVER will produce
barcode

4. Download the Google


Authenticator app, if already
installed, please proceed to the
next step.

5. Using the Google Authenticator


“ Select the Scan a barcode“

6. Scan the Bar-code/QR code


from the OpenVPN Page.

7. Copy back the generated 6 digit


code to openvpn web and click
on confirm code

8. Download client.ovpn on the


openvpn web server

make user that download only


for

Yourself (user-locked profile)

Connecting to VPN
Steps
Open the “OpenVPN Connect”

Choose the Previously used profile to


connect.
if profile was not found, create it, by logging
into the https://ovpn1.portal888.net:4443,
download the client.ovpn file and import it.

Click the OpenVPN Profile with the your


userid and enter the ict password, then click
OK

You will be prompted to enter the


Authenticator Code from the Google
Authenticator. Click Send.

After successfully authenticating, you will


be immediately connected to the VPN (this
may be delayed with basis of your internet
connection).
