Intervention Learner Template

The student struggles in mathematics and often looks confused. He frequently asks classmates or teachers for help because he does not understand instructions. While he attempts the work, he puts many question marks by his answers. One-on-one learning experiences where concepts are broken down simply using concrete materials and ICT would benefit the student. He needs guidance for almost every task. Areas of strength include always trying tasks and not distracting others. He requires assistance with multiplication and division concepts and understanding their relationship. Scaffolding experiences like verbal reinforcement, apps, flashcards and concrete materials can help.

PLAN FOR FUTURE LEARNING EXPERIENCE:

The student would benefit largely being provided with one on one learning experiences. I believe the student will need teaching/learning experiences that
are broken down (chunking strategy) simpler for him to understand. The student would benefit from using concrete materials, ICT incorporation and being
able to create things rather than working from a workbook. As the student needs guidance and support with almost every task he would benefit largely
from having the one on one support and guidance.
